Milan played an awful game. Sporting Braga had most of the chances, but they failed scoring. In injury time, when the teams where still leveled at 0-0, Ronaldinho saved the day for Milan by scoring a beautiful goal from just outside the box.

AC Milan beat Heerenveen by 3-1. Inzaghi and Gattusso scored before half time, when after half-time Inzaghi finished the last struggles of Heerenveen. Alexandre Pato came in in the 70th minute, after starting on the bench. Ancelotti substituted him for Shevshenko.
